So what percentage of produce you eat is Organic ? What do you avoid?

I'm sure it varies for us all month to month

And soemtimes Organic is just too dang expensive, but it's not ALL the time thank God. Even soemtimes organic food can be cheaper oh what joyus occasions they be. I would say my organic produce consumption is over 60% but this is mostly Superstore grade .... not the best but better than not eh.

What sort of non organic produce do you avoid most? I try to avoid celery, lettuce, strawberries and potatoes.

Will we ever see GMO products with labels!?

Does anyone know much about hothouse or greenhouse grown peppers, tomatoes/ produce?

Id say about 80% of what I eat is organic at this point.

I avoid pure JUNK which is your regular potato chips, chocolat bars, candys and just outright JUNK

I have the occasional non-organic apple or celery, you know, but non-organic chocolate bars.. im way over that LOL

GMO Products with label ? I doubt it. 99% of seeds are GMO already and they don't seem to want to tag the items. Who wants some GMO Beef ? .. Not a hot point of sale..

Greenhouse tomatoes and peppers are oe of the easiest to grow so ive heart.. dont know much else about them .. !

I was just wondeirng about the greenhouse hothouse produce because there is a fair bit of local produce out here in Vancouver from them.

Have you seen the video on the organic seed sanctuaries? There is one in circulation on torrents somewheres

The site is looking good Jean-Yves. Much more tidy :)

havent seen the video you are talking about.. no :) Post a link if you find it !

thanks for the comment about the site.. I worked hard on it to make it more ""to the point" and user friendly.

Pretty much the best I can make it for now. I dont see how I could make it any better, except for more people. On the functionality side, its perfect from my point of view :D

I avoid Peaches, Strawberries, Broccoli for sure that isn't organic. And yes it is very expensive to shop organic. I live in Sedona/Arizona and believe me coming from L.A. things are much more expensive here.
Seriously I am considering having a vegetable garden at my next house.
